Using Google Scholar to Find Scholarly Articles

Using Google Scholar to Find Scholarly Articles In-Person

Are you writing a paper or working on a project and having difficulty locating scholarly articles online? The library offers many databases that you can use, but there are also trusted materials that can be found freely online through Google Scholar. This beginner level workshop will demonstrate how to conduct searches in Google Scholar to get the most relevant results. We will cover the advanced search, keywords, sifting through your results, and what to do if you hit a paywall.
